I was commissioned to create two original artworks for The House Hotel Karaköy, also known as Vault Karaköy. One of the pieces explores the layered narratives of the neighborhood through a typographic map—an interplay of local fragments, names, and phrases collected from its streets. Composed of two overlapping layers of laser-cut Plexiglas, the work invites viewers to experience Karaköy not just as a place, but as a palimpsest of language, memory, and form.
